Area: An area bounded on the south by the northern bank of the Mississippi River, on the east by the center line of Louisiana Highway 47 (known as Paris Road), on the north by the southern boundary of the marsh located south of Bayou Bienvenue, and on the west by the eastern bank of the Inner Harbor Navigation Canal (known as the “Industrial Canal”).
It is with great pleasure that we announce a settlement of the class action which was certified by
the court in 2013 in the matter entitled Caruso, et al v. Chalmette Refining, L.L.C., et al., Case No.
118-118, Thirty-Fourth Judicial District Court, Parish of St. Bernard Parish, State of Louisiana
consolidated with Raymond et al v. Chalmette Refining, L.L.C., et al., Case No. 119-194. This
case involved the release of spent catalyst from the facility operated by Chalmette Refining LLC
in September of 2010. The settlement is for the cleanup of the catalyst dust in and around homes
and on vehicles, and for property damage of a non-permanent nature. All of the details of the
settlement and the documents filed with the court in connection with the settlement, together with
the proof of claim form which must be completed in order to make a claim may be found at the

form is February 15, 2019. Please read the attached notice for instructions regarding how to
submit your claim form or forms.
